I believe that strong companies, large or small, are built on three strategic pillars: Innovation, Marketing (including Sales), and a sound Financial Model. During my whole career, I have been involved into strategic initiatives related to these 3 pillars. I have contributed to defining and implementing programmes to influence the business ecosystem of my company and of its clients. I have also sold solutions and services. Having worked for and with a variety of companies with different business models helps me take a broad perspective on any strategic matter.
Technology
Trained as en engineer and a scientist, I understand the essence and many details of technology (way beyond IT). When adequate and necessary, I can speak the same language as engineers and technologists. I also understand the usage of technology, its life cycle, its social and economic aspects, and the many challenges faced by technology firms. My knowledge is especially developed in areas such as; semi-conductors, software development, IT infrastructure, advanced materials, traditional and alternative energies, applied physics (and applied physics is everywhere ...).
